Endodontist C. Susan Chi, DMD

Dr. C. Susan Chi earned her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania and then completed a one-year hospital based general practice residency at Loyola University in Chicago.  After GPR, she moved to Houston where she practiced general dentistry for eight years.  During the last three of these years she also taught at the UT Dental School specializing in the care of medically complicated patients.  After years of practicing general dentistry, she decided to pursue her passion in Endodontics at Columbia University in New York City.  Upon obtaining her degree and extensive training Dr. Chi returned to her Houston home to both practice Endodontics and resume teaching at UT Dental School.

Dr. Chi was born in Taiwan and moved to Canada with her family when she was in high school.  She completed a dual degree program in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Western Ontario, from which she graduated with distinction.  She moved to the United States to complete her dental education where she met her husband, a faculty member at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and moved to Houston to join him.  In her time off she enjoys running, Yoga, travelling, and spending time with her friends and family.
